Hi and Thanks, I have just bought an Aqua mode 600, and in the next few days will be putting it together and getting it ready for angel fish only........I went to the sharde resteraunt in Tollerton and saw a tank there, it looked amazing with just 5 large Angel fish in, and I would like to copy it...........what do you think? Any advice would be welcome.......

Welcome! What are the tank dimensions and how many gallons or litres does it hold?

Sorry to say, 65 liters isnt enough for 1 angelfish. They need at least 35 gallons for 1, and 10 more for each additional one. You would need about a 75 gallon tank for 5 angelfish. Sorry

Quite shocked at that as the one i saw was a bit bigger but not much?

Then it was overstocked. Those angels are VERY teritorrial.
Thanks for your advice, looks like I will have to go back to the drawing board, is there a list of what can go in to a tank this size on here i.e.; volume = fish etc,

it's not really that simple, but we'll certainly try to help you with some good advice!

my suggestion would be to go to a fish shop, make notes of the fish that you like the look of, then post back here with your thoughts.

Thanks, good idea, phew! a lot to learn, how do I get your replies linked to my email? so I know when a post is there?

you can select to watch any topic, (there is a button called 'watch topic') and then the forum gives you some choices about how you fish to be contacted when new posts are added.
