Hi to all, im new on the forum so that I would make my self known. My name is dean and im from essex in the uk. I have a 500 ltr tropical tank and love my hobbie of keeping tropical fish.

Lol really how strange 50 thousand plus members kn here and an essex girl is the first to read my post lol where you from in essex? Im in chelmsford. What fish do you keep? X

It is funny indeed - i'm about ten miles out of Chelmsford, going towards Southend

I'm a Marine keeper though - well should I say, my five footer is a marine tank. I do have a tropical tank in the house, that only has six corys and a starry night plec in at the moment (180 L)

What do you keep?

Mine is tropical, have a great selection, from the plecs to electric blue rams and a group of ruby heads, paradise fish and rainbows and just added today a fire tail which I'm well happy with. Living down that area you must shop at swallows? I love it in there a great shop x how old are you? If you don't mind me asking? X

Must admit to not being a great fan of the Marine section at Swallows, but the trops are much better
