Hi Everyone, I have kept fish for a couple of years but never taken it seriously before.

Just restarted my tank and thought I would do things properly this time.

I have got a Juwel Vision 180 with stand, no fish yet as I am cycling and sorting out the chemistry of my tank before I take the plunge (No pun intended).


Will be bugging for lots of infomation as the lfs' in the area dont really know what they are talking about - had a lot of misinformation from them - so I don't trust them.

Yes, most LFS lack the knowledge of cycling a tank. All they want is your money, and selling you worthless products to do is just another way for them to get your money.

Bottom line is, fish stores operate from a financial standpoint and not for the well being of the fish.
