Hey Guys!
Nice to see a good group of people talking about what they love!
Theres some fantastic information on here, and you've all helped me loads so far.
I had my tank for Christmas, started with good intentions. I didn't know much about cycling but knew that I shouldn't put any fish in immediately. Anyway, I made it 4 days before I got too excited and purchased four Plays. Unfortunately I have no patience and I read on the back of my bottle of Cycle that I could add fish within 48 hours so there was no stopping me!
Anyway, nearly a week later I still have four vey happy fish (seriously - they really do look like they are loving it!) I'm testing my water every couple of days at the moment and am getting Ammonia and Nitrite at 0.25 and Nitrate at 7. pH is 7.6 and temp is a relatively constant 24-26*. I did my first water change a couple of days ago, and assuming that my tests don't go berserk, I'll do them weekly from now on.
I'd like to get a couple new fishies at the weekend, but again its dependent on tests - see my wish list below!
Hopefully, I will be able to contribute towards this forum, after I've learnt a bit - in the meantime, thanks for all the help you guys give me!!!!
Cheers,
N
