Hi All, just thought I'd introduce myself! Been nagging my hubby to join this wonderful site, although I've not joined myself yet, I've just been lurking and absorbing all your helpful information like a filter sponge haha

Just so you know, my hubby is "newtomarine" and we are just thinking about setting up a fish only tank over the next few weeks.

We have been keeping tropical for anumber of years including malawi cichlids and discus. I currently have a 130L community tropical tank.

Look forward to hearing your advice and giving out any advice I can offer myself - rather limited I'm afraid

Welcome Brittlestar everyone here is really helpfull ,maybe you could advice me on where to get discus locally(nearlynewtodiscus) and keeping them. Also have community tank, 1 hamster, 1 rabbit, 2 guinea pigs and a crazy springer spaniel. Angel

Hi! Angelmouse I am not sure about discus in Bucks - I had them when I lived in Essex and got mine from Maidenhead aquatics Dartford. Have you been to the St Albans Maidenhead A? I live in South Bucks but its not too far - just up the M25 to J21A then a few miles from there. Its a big store and they have quite a big discus selection and will be able to advise you
