Hi All,
I'm from Auckland, New Zealand, and just getting into fishkeeping. It started when my very young son started getting into fish, just loved them, it was his first word. So I purchased an AquaOne 126 tank to keep a goldfish in. We had little success over time, went through a few fish, spent a lot of time reading.
Finally figured out what was wrong. The water was too warm for goldfish. I thought it was to do with the ambient temp in the room - so made the logical choice of buying a heater and trying a tropical or two. Now I've done some research and just become fascinated with the beauty and variation of tropical fish.
Hope to get to know some of you guys - and would appreciate some help with my first post coming up soon.
