hi,
My name is pascados im new around hear and fairly new to fish keeping. pascados means fish in spanish just to clear things up, its suppost to be spelt pescados but I'm terrible at spelling. Im a big fan of loaches and any odd looking fish.

hey I keep yoyo loaches and kuhli loaches( Iwas going to get clown loaches but I was worried they would eat my neons) I also have a ribbon kuhli loach

cool. i keep kuhli, botia sidthimunki, botia rostrata, and one albino sucking loach which i am currently trying to get rid of.

Actually, pescados is the dead fish that you eat Fish that you keep is normally 'pez' or 'peces'

botia sidthimunki are pretty cool, I was going to get one but they were so expensive. Why were you trying to get rid of your sucking loach? too big? agressive?

too big and aggressive. though hes only aggressive towards my dwarf blue gourami, he's fine towards the red honeys...

The only time we ever had loaches was about 12 years ago when we were told weather loaches were OK to keep with fantail goldies - unfortunately they went back to the shop as they ate my fish's tails

I am currently trying to build up a rainbowfish tank and we are just beginning to set up a 55gal Reef

What a shame, I'm sorry to hear that.
My weather loaches have been happy and peaceful fish, and have both been kept with a variety of other species, including ryakins, lion heads, a pinnacle (or is it pearlscale - see my avatar???) and also two orandas.
I had no trouble atall with fin-nipping. I guess all fish have their own personalities!
