I'm Tom, my parents got a 125L tank about 2 months but I've been doing all the maintenance for them etc, found this forum coming up a lot whilst I was searching for tips so thought I'd just join. They had a tank when I was a child but this is the first time any of us has had one for 15-20 years.
So far we have 3 guppies, 5 neon tetras, 4 platies, and 2 dwarf gourami. Probably going to add a bottom feeder in a few more weeks, and I'd like a few more plants maybe.
Got a bit of brown diatom algae but its slowly clearing up and all the fish seem to like eating the plant on the left and a few of the ends are getting a bit stringy.
(Bits floating about are because I'd just sponged the inside glass and disturbed some stuff settled on the gravel, its normally clear)
