hey guys i have just tried to start a new topic in the planted and planted tanks section and it says you cannot start a new topic for some reason and i wanted to share some new pics i have took today of my new plants that i have added

It's because you haven't completed the validation process properly yet. Check your e-mail and make sure you clicked on the link. If that doesn't work then give a mod a nudge.

The plants in the middle of your tank are Java ferns; they need to be attached to wood or rocks (you can tie them on with thread, rubber bands or superglue them; yes, it is tank safe!) or they'll rot

p.s yes they are java ferns and thats why i wondered if they would grow in my gravel,
I have two attatched to a rock with some cotton and another one attatched to the tree look alike orniamnt on th right hand side, not sure if the roots will take because its artificial, i will have to go to the local pet store and buy some bog wood/drift wood if that will be ok?

Oh, Java fern will grow attached to anything, as long as it's not too smooth for the roots to get a grip
