hello every body,
im ryan aged 20 and i live in gloucestershire in the uk. i currently have a 35 litre tank setup with cardinal tetra, harliquins a couple of bronze corys and a koolie? loach.
im aftre a 3 foot tank and have been looking at the fluval duo 800 for about£130. any one got any advice on this? i have spoke to my local aquatics centers (maidenhead aquatics) and will get the proper stand with it, i was going to upgrade the filter to external filter (from a fluval number 3) any one recomend one for me? i plan on having it setup for comunnity fish such as corys and small tetras with plenty of plants.
when setup haow long will it take to move all my old fish over? my cardinals are very hapy and look very good but been told they need a good mature tank. i plan to keep my old tank due to its ease of looking after and might try to breed corys in a few months after my new tank is setup and ok.
also anyone recoomend the best test kit? theya er reasonably expensive and want a good one but dont know what to look for? my current tank gets tested at my aquatics center when ever i buy new fish and allways get told its a well established good quality water tank.(if you know what i mean)

sorry bout all the questions but too exited cant wait! :hey:

Yeah your plans seem fine you could try the Duo Deep 1000 aswell i have the 1200 there all a nice rage of tanks. As for the external go with it a good fluval 105 or 205 for a tank of this size and i have the test kit i have a nutrafin one there good around £20 all of these things are reguarly available at maidenhead aquatices centres. If you are comfortable getting things of the web you could even go for an eheim external.

P.S Welcome to the forums.

Hello ryan and welcome to the forums. :hi:

I'm not familiar with the set up you are looking at. PM one of the mods and have them move this to the Chit Chat section and you will get more replys.
