Hi, I keep a lot reptiles and would like to get a fish to balance things out a bit.

I'm looking for a species available to keep in Australia, predatory, not huge but a decent size with something odd about it. Like how lion fish have the cool fins. I want it to look different.

Are there any suggestions?

:hi:
Lionfish are marine and so to a newbie fish keeper, they are very hard to maintain.
A much easier fish to care for would be an African Butterflyfish. These are freshwater fish and they look very similar to Lionfish IMO. Dont grow too big either
Strange thing are obviously its strange looks and massive mouth and it is always near the surface. I wouldn't keep these in anything less than 100 litre tanks
