my fish own yours

hey there, my names Connor Rimmer and i live in Grimsby , England and ive had my tropical fish tank for around 4 months now.
What Realy intrested me was when my Dad got a 30 litre Bi0rb for his birthday , 3 weeks later he took me to woodthorpe aquitics were, well i saw some beautiful fish! he bought some tiger barbs and neons to start with , and i started to save my money and got myself a 10 gal wich fits perfectly in my room, on my little box which used to hold homework and school stuff .
After 3 weeks of waiting for the tank to become right, i went out and bought 2 male guppies, and 2 female guppies with a sucker loach to keep things ship shape!
few weeks later i decided to buy some more fish at my LFS , i bought a betta, which i did not no how to care for , and it died

after i let my tank settle down i decided to go buy a ruby shark ( which commited hara kiri and did a finding nemo , jumped into my pump and died
) and bought an albino shark ( rules my tank now, although stays in his barrel ) and a silver shark, hes been my best fish by far, except my blue guppy he was georgouss but he died, and now i find that he needs a bigger environment, so im gnna have to rehome him!
So now im thinking of buying some small 2-3 gal tanks to keep some bettas as theyre so buetiful, but i dont now hot to filter and heat it (if it needs it ) so if anybody could help me or link me up to a betta begins tank guide , much apretiative
