Hey I got some good news today

I get a new 180 gallon tank in the morning.. The bad news is I dont know what to put in it yet. I got a iridescent shark. But he is no wheres near grown yet I thinking about trading him back at the lfs because of how big he gets. This 180 gallon is it for a while. I am running out of room. My question is what would you guys put in a tank that big??? I have a 55 gallon cichlid tank going already. Would you make that a community tank or would you go with one certian kind of fish if you were me???

I would make it into an interesting community tank with some nice loaches and cat fish and some nice bigger fish that You wouldnt be able to fit in a 55G tank... Oscars or Big Cichlids or Sydontsis Catfish, Plecs etc.

There are so many possibilities with a 180Gallon tank, you are very lucky indeed!

You are very lucky. Boy oh boy. I think if I had a tank that big it would have big cichlids. One day I am going to have a 300gal pacu tank. 1 would probably fit in a 180. But you couldnt have more than 1. Pacus are so cute. In a big ugly sort of way.

I am so excited I have looked at fish on the web all day. My son come home today I havent seen him in a few months. He lives away from me now I cant have him near me like I am use to but he wanted me to fill it full of cichlids. Which I have that in mind. I am thinking a big community tank. Like bala sharks and stuff like that. Now I can buy more than 2. Mabey 6 or more. then I will think of something else. I have a bunch of ideals now. This morning I was clueless. I still havent made up my mind.

I have got my new tank...yay I just got back with it. I didnt think I was going to have room for the tank in my truck. I had to leave the stand till the 13 of the month. So it will be the 13 before I can get the tank set up. I have got 6 nice bala sharks picked out plus one nice 3 inch golden nugget pleco. I dont know what else I am going to put in it yet. Some one give me some more ideals please.
