Hey everyone I finally bought a digital camera. THe question is how do I take the pictures and put them onto my computer? DO I have to use the memmory card or do I use the USB drive?

It depends on your digital camera. Mine came with a cable so I can attach the camera directly to the computer and transfer the photos onto it that way, it happens automatically and also has the option or erasing the cameras memory card (after the photos have gone across that is). For me that uses a lot of battery power so I bought a flash card reader which has attachments to be able to use SD, Comfact flash, XD etc. cards. Then the photo transfer processs is the same, just without a cable.

If you tell us the brand of your camera someone might have it and can help you better

with my digital camera i use the usb port and connect it to my camera, or the printer dock.

I use the USB for mine as well. They sell floppy adapters for some types of memory sticks. I had one once. It workes pretty good. They also have memory card readers that plug into the USB ports.

Thanks guys I figuerd it out. All I had to do was put the memmory card into my print because my printer is specilized for it so I put the memmory card in the slot for the memmory card so I got the pictures loaded up no. Thanks for the information though.
