thanks for the welcomes, the people here seem really nice.
snowyangel, i have 2 female bettas, a female guppy, a male guppy, two white cloud minnows and a golden algae eater.

i'm relatively new at fish keeping. i had a couple of goldfish when i was little, and I had a male betta that died a lil while back due to velvet. I'm hoping i'll have more luck with my fish this time around.

whats size of tank? I also own guppies(i breed them) and bettas(but mine are all male).

the 2 bettas are each in their own kritter keeper and the rest are in a mini 2.5g tank

You have got a golden algae eater in a 2.5 gal tank? Have you researched them to see how big they get, mine has grown to 6 inches in 3 months, I think they can get to 10 inches long. You seem to be overstocked for such a small tank, Sorry, but just my opinion
