Hey there,
I'm all new to the hobby, (Well if you don't take into account looking after goldfish at a young age).
I have recently bought a 25L small tank and Installed a filter and heater.
I don't know much about setting up a tank to be honest, but I have done the following steps:
Washed out the tank using only water and a sponge
Rinsed out my gravel with tap water until all dust etc had been removed.
Placed the gravel in my tank and installed the filter and heater systems.
Filled up the tank.
Put in some bacteria advance stuff to speed up the cycle (Came with the tank... but not sure if to put this in but did anyway...)
Also put in de-stresser stuff also...
The tank has been left two days but I am out today so it will be left at least 4 days before I think about including fish.
I would like to add on the second day, the water seemed to be a tad cloudy... Not sure if this is normal...?
Like I have said, I am new to all this and would love someone to guide me.
Also to mention I am aiming to have a male betta and some neon tetras together in this tank...
This is just a sub tank, as I am aiming to set up a 2ft tank once I have decorated...
Any help would be useful, and I will be reading through these forums for help also!
Thank you in advance
Danny.
