Hey Everyone! Just A Quick Question

howsit going gals and guys?
goin Ok for me, just watchin the super bowl and such. well i decided to pop in for a quick question.

awile back i baught my girlfriend a 16g bow front. and we've got quite an algea?fungi type build up on the fake plants and deco. i've got one of this min Co2 systems up and running, but it only seems to knock out the algea for about the first 3 or 4 days after i change the ingrediants in the C02 canister, so here i am rying to figure out what i can do.

is there anything i can soak these things in? bleech or anything? and then soak them in fresh water for a few hours and change the water for more fresh water and soak longer?

mm hm, you are correct.

and it also kills things

Swap them for live plants; they'll benefit the water and the fish, too.

yeah definately get some live plants in there. if you've got Co2 then you should be able to grow them no problem.

lol no, i've done plenty of live plants. its my g/fs tank. and she wont kep up with the maintenece a planted tank needs. plus i dont feel like switching the substrate
