Hi, I recently came across your forums after searching for a new pet to call my own. For years I always wanted to set up my own tank, my dad once had 5ft by 1ft tank with 4 dragonfish (which were so cool, feeding them prawns and such) but over the course of a decade and a bit they perished. Though we still have another 5ft by 1ft semi hexagonal tank with 5 japanese koi (25 years and going)which are pleasant to watch.
As I want something unique and a bit more entertaining I have recently came upon pet Lobsters. Now I know that the "blue" lobster is the only legal crayfish in the UK but I dont intend to get a massive 20gal tank. Was wondering if the saltwater Pink reef lobsters (5inches big at most)are legal to keep in Scotland? And where I might purchase one?
