I've had Betta's before and I know for most of them, they would rather be in a busy place where they can watch whats going on. My bedroom is not that place, as I'mm only in there if I'm sleeping or have just woken up.
Casper is in a 5 gal and was in my room, where he freaked out every time I showed up.
I decided to move him to the living room with my 30 gal, because I thought he'd like to watch TV too
And he does seem happier, he never used to flare up, now he cant stop flaring at the cat (Theres a lid on the tank so he's safe lol) but I am very happy that he's happy lol
I'm still havign trouble getting a picture of his blue taint, his tail has to be at just the right angle. And I have yet to get a good picture of his eyes - which are also blue
