He's Sebastian, the snail-suckin' pleco!

I caught Sebastian, my pleco, sucking away on one of my little gold snails. The snail was going all over the gravel, but Sebastian would not get off. The snail finally ended up going under a part of the driftwood where Sebastian wouldn't fit.

And just for the heck of it, some other snails.

What kind of plec is he?

cutechic - I don't know, I thought he was a clown pleco when I bought him because he hides quite a bit, which I read that clown plecos do. Somebody told me they thought he was a common pleco, so if he is he's going to the big tank if he gets too big for the one he is in now.

Somebody's told me that they think he is a common pleco - is anybody here sure on that? If he is, he'll be moving into the 75 once he gets bigger. Right now, he's only about 2 inches long.

looks like it could be a gibiceps plec...if so they grow to 30cm..

30 centimeters as in 3 inches (sorry if my answer is off, I'm a terrible maths student)? If so, I'm guessing I can keep him in the tank in is in at the moment.

30cm = 12 inches = 1 foot.
