So as ive stated before ive put my betta in a half gallon bowl for medication, and ive found the over half hte surface of the water ot be covered by bubbles, im not sure if this means he enjoys his new little bowl more so his old tanki should probably remove the filter and the rblood fin tetra in there as it fin nips]
So should ikeept it filtered, i have the filter positioned ot create minimal current and surface disturbance, but hes probably not enjoying it too much.
In a few months time, i will probably redo his entire tank, making it planted.
But he seems to enjoy his bowl alot so should i keep him in there? Ill be persistant with water changes, but hte bowl is basically empty, jsut a .5 gal fish bowl with declorinated water in there.
Ive been treating him for fin rot though....

Keep it filtered, a half gallon for the tetra and the betta is probably going to need every day water changes even if it is filtered, but perhaps the betta is proclaiming his territory. :good:

Cough the the bettas normal home is a 2 gallon hex
but hes alone in the .5 gallon for treatment, the tetras by himself in the 2 gal hex, i do plan to get more for a shoal later on though so it wont be too stressed out, but for a shoal id need to clain my hands on the 10 gall 1st... anytime now, or tell my friend ot get bloodfins to start out his tank later, since hes gonna start up a 10 gal soon.
