I have one medium sized Pink Kisser Gourami (Helostoma temminckii) in my Hillstream tank... he's been a great tank mate, as a solo... when 1st purchased he was part of a group of 3, that were smooching ( fighting ) all the time... eventually there was just one, and he has become a great gardener, and an excellent tank mate, not bothering baby loaches, or even the cherry shrimp in this tank, even though he's much larger... it would have been nice to have a couple of them, but, he does great as a single...
