Yes was of old age, he was 10 years old. Happened so quick with no suffering which helps the blow a bit.

Thanks everyone for the loverly comments about my pets. Blue is so well known around where i live and work because he comes everywhere with me. Even into PaulMTS work, the fish shop lol
He sits watching the fish in the lower tanks....and chases the gold fish in the small pond. We think hes had 2 of them
