Here's A Challenge

so to update my ram situation, i called the place i bought my female from (the same place i purchased my male earlier). they told me they could 'home' her for me, though they couldn't reimberse me with any kind of credit excuse me ?!?! i think not. i'm not about to hand over my $8 fish to them for FREE after they sold me it without any kind of advice that this may be a problem.

so, i tried a variation of someone's suggestion and bagged the male for about 5-10 minutes. i didn't change anything in the tank as i like it the way it is. re-introduced the male, and thus far things are going well. the male seems to be the one cowarding a bit (even though the female hasn't lost her memory and is cautious of him). he swam over to her a few times in the attempt of either getting her to leave, or getting her attention i'm not sure. but the female isn't terrified anymore and is picking up gravel and spitting it out right in front of the male.

now this is all in the span of one morning. and i don't know if it will stay this way... but if he starts harassing her again, i'll rinse and repeat this method before i hand my fish over to that place.
