My 30 gallon is an old tv that I gutted and put a 30 gallon tank in. It is my favorite tank of them all. I finally had the money to get t5 lights, flourite, and I made my own co2 setup and just bought the co2 ladder from the petstore. Right now I have 2 filters because I bought a better one than I had, and I have to leave the old one on so not to mess with cycle. Now my plants will survive with the proper setup. The first one is the day I set up the tank, it was a little cloudy. Don't ask me names of plants because I haven't researched for names yet, but I will, and I will have to write them down to remember what I have. The second pick I took today, the plants sure have livened up.

Thank you, it took a long time to empty tank and put everything back in it. I have a python so emptying and filling was so easy, I love my python, saves my back and time. I added a clown loach incase there is any snails and I love the way they look. Don't have a pic of him yet. He/she is so cute. I will make sure I post pics later when the plants fill out. I am going to go for a hunt for moss and free up the front a little to put it on something so it looks like grass in the front.

It does look nice, only problem is that you have a few non aquatic plants, the yellow and green one at the back and perhaps the green long leaf one, the grass like ones are not very aquatic either I think. A couple of others, the ones either side of the crypts with the oval leaves are suspect too as are some of the ferns, if they don’t show some growth in the next few weeks you can be pretty sure that they are not aquatic. You could post pics of individual plants if I am not clear and we will be able to identify them for you. Most of us have been caught out by the non-aquatics.
It does look very nice and the stem plants at the back look like they are doing very well.

i will keep an eye on the growth of the plants, I bought them all at good petstores that get aquatic plants. One is a bamboo plant, but I will see what happens.
