Hi all im about to start on my fishless cycle
i have a river reef 94 lts setup
ive read the post How to Do a Fishless Cycle and im going with "Add and Wait" Method
so this is going to be my daily log and questions thread ill try not to ask the same stuff already coved 10000000 times
Firstly nothing much is going to happen till 15th aug as im off to spain at 8:50am today to pick up my son who is with his nanna and grandad
any way after spending the day looking i have gone for the river reef 94 i was waiting till i came home as the tank and stand was around £250
after passing my local pond shop i thought i would just pop in and have a look and to my shock they had tanks in stock not many as i thought it was just a pond shop, they was selling the same tank with stand and backdrop if thats what you call them for £149.99 so i thought what the hell get it
now im not sure if i want to use the back drop ive tried it in but i can not fit the water jets tubes over it as the holes seem small and dont no weather i should make them bigger or not or dont you need the jet tubes this would meen i would not be able to direct the flow if needed
?
the sand/gravel will go in when i get back from spain im going to order some ammonia from boots LINK HERE can you tell me if thats ok
and i will order it for when im home and hopefully we will be of to a start....
