I'm planning a new tank for a F8 puffer (it's turning up this weekend!) and I went to my LFS to have a look at their stock armed with my trusty camera. Thought you might like to see some of the pics. They're not as good as I'd hoped but the shop was packed and people kept wanting to get past me (how rude  )...
this fire eel was a stunner and kept peeking out at me

Can't wait for my new tank to turn up...the excitement is almost unbearable

I dont know why these idiot shops stock Mbu Puffers, its ridiculous, how many people have a 500gall + tank to house one in!

also, the 2nd and 3rd puffers look like T. Fluviatilis or T. Sabahesis

The fire eel and discus are stunning! - beautiful fish :good:

I like the look of them butterfly goby waspfish i have never seen them before.
Anyone got any info on them.?

Neovespicula Depressifrons thats the proper name for the fish, its a brackish fish, with a mild toxin in its spines, predatory....etc.

The mbu are ones that folk have sold on to the shop, having (shock horror) outgrown their tanks, but they're not a fish I'd have room for that's for sure. The other puffs could be what you say, I didn't pay any attention to the labelling tbh, so most likely my ignorance/bad  Still lovely fish though :D

nnaaaa i dont think they are attractive, to me they are just another Cichlid. I find Puffers, Polypterus, Channa attractive as they are strange and odd compared to the standard mass produced fish ranges.

As I couldn't see the pics at work, just thought I'd mention...
