I have 3 colombian black finned catfish who I am worried may have hemorrhagic septicemia...They were in a 60g brackish tank with a school of 3 mono sebaes. They were getting bullied pretty badly and became very stressed. I have since moved them. At first I thought they had fin rot, but now I am worried it may be worse... I have tried to do as much research about what they may have but cant find any pictures anywhere. Does anyone know where I could see pictures of Hemorrhagic septicemia??? Or a good place to find pics of diseases in general?

Thank you so much

Thanks for the link...Now Im not so sure what they have...Its not nearly as bad as what that site makes it sound like...they have a slight redness at the base of their caudal fin and a very slight light area around that...normal behavior otherwise...it also has not gotten worse since they got it a week and a half ago. Does anyone have any ideas???

Right septicemia red at the base of the tail, and can have streaks of red running through the tail, also have red bellies, also can have small red pin pricks that viral septicemia.

Sounds like septicemia to me, take a look here uneder septicemia.

Sounds like it is septicemia...I will have to seperate them from my other fish but cant for a few days...is this very contagious? Do I need to worry about the other fish?

Left a reply in brackish, yes fish with septicemia can release the bacteria into the tank, i will get you another link, i would do some water changes on the tank, plus you will need an antibiotic.

look under h septicemia.
