ok I looked at the tank this mornign to find the male krib chasing the female. She has lost most of her color and keeps lying on her side.
Should I seperate them again and whys this happening.
Could he be picking on her cause there is only one other fish in the tank (a flame tetra)

Tested the water and ammonia is 0 nitrite is 0 and nitrate is 40 and ph is 7

i had the same problem i took both out rearanged the tank then put them both back at the same time, and they have calmed down now.

Since you've already had this problem before, i would suggest getting a new, smaller male.
