Helpp!!!!what is thing white goo!!!

I keep finding thing white goo snot like texture all over my tank. Some on this thermometer some on the heater some on the air hose to my airstong and intake of spong filter. What is it??

Please try the following : wearing thin gloves remove the thermometer from aquarium then check texture and odor of this white goo.
I think nothing serious a kind of mycosis

No smell feels like snot of jelly
Both my tanks have this i dont know what it is

Remove all affected stuff, bleach it, rinse carefully, replace it.

No it seems to only like plastic. Even the air tubes have it

Also fish are nibbling on it as are snails

biofilm, just take out the affected items and wash them before putting the items back in tank.
