Can any one shed any light on this...he is going round my tank at the moment rippin shreds out of my 2 balloon mollies :hyper: ....last night one of the dalmation mollies had babies... :wub: (but the tiger barbs eat most of them :( ...it was like a feeding frenzy...every thing in the tank was going mad...any way i caught 4 of the fry and put them in the breeding net :) but now this fish is still going crazy?....He was meant to be a dalmation mollie...but his huge sailfin must men he is one of them?....I thought mollies were peaceful fish? :/ Any one got any ideas on wot to do? I havnt got any other tanks to put him in? the way he is going there wont be much of the mollies left? :dunno: ....thanks.
 
The tiger barbs are far more likely to cause problems for your fish, check them out at night after the tank lights are turned off for 30mins to see if they are harrassing fish too.
There isn't much you can do about bully fish, you can either;
a. but some plants and caves/rocks and make lots more hiding places for the fish in the tank so victum fish have at least decent 3places they can go too when they are being harrassed and hide, or
b. rehome the bully fish- mollys aern't agressive by nature but fish are like people and you will always get some that are bullys, if he is new though your fish could just be establishing a pecking order...
