Ok i went to my LFS and i thought i bought two otto's, they look different even thought the LFS said they were loaches, but they have a black strip down the side of them, well they look very much like Black tetra neon's right and they have two barb's by their mouths...

Now when i got them, they seemed friendly towards one another, but then i moved them from my small tank to my bigger one and now one picks on the other, now can some help me here, are these Otto Dwarfs and if they are, is it they might be both male and thats why one is picking on the other, or is it territoral aspects?

:/

hehe thanks for the link CathyG i was going to post a pic of 1 of my fish to id, i think i have now ,maybe it will help Zenn, see what you think

CathyG, you are right they are Siemese algae eaters, but i am thankful on the information provided on that link, i was fearing that they were just like Chinese algae eaters, because i got two and one does chase the other, however he also chases smaller fish than him, like the two young guppies that i have just added to the tank and the black neons, though as i said, they look alike so i think he thinks it another one like him...

Do you know what size they grow up to be?

I still want some otto's :(
