Hey guys i have a male and female black molly. The female is pregnant but i dont know when she will be due shes really big and is open but nothing all she does is swim all over the tank. My question is my male molly has a tiny little white dot by his head and i have never had mollies so could this turn out to be some kind of deseas or is this normal?

do the spots, look like little grains of suger, if so it proberly White spot, nothing serious there is alway white spot parrersites in the tank, so you will never get rid of them, they only affect the fish when stressed the best thing to do, id to raise your temp, can't remember how much it needs to be. But raising will make the white spot parrasites life cycle go quicker.

Test you water, as water conditions are the main reason for fish stress, and normaly in my tank they always get white spot when the conditions are alittle off.

On the female it maybe better to move her to a small like 5/6G planted tank for her to give birth. If you don't have another or can't have another tank, then I say just let nature take it corse, as using a breeding net/trap, normaly stresses the female to much and in my exsperiance, you save the fry but at the cost of your female.

hope this Helps.
