HELP

Hiya,
woke this morning and on of my mickey mouse platy is swimming funny. He/she looks bloated and is sort of bending in the middle with head pointing up when swimming.
Anyone any ideas what it is and what I should do.

Could be either swimbladder or dropsy. Are there any protruding scales?

I'm at work at the moment and dont have any info to hand, but see if you can look them up on the net.

Also there's a thread somewhere in the forum where people have posted links to illness identification sites. That might be of some use too.

Ive checked every website I can find looked at the help section here and I cant find anything that looks like this problem.
Gonna do a partial water change today and keep an eye on him/her and keep looking.

Are you parameters OK..... ammonia, nitrate, etc???

Fish looks fine now and i checked water ammonia o, nitrite 0 and nitrate 20.
So Im not gonna do a partial water change as water is fine.
Testing water etc is new to me when I kept fish years ago there was no such thing as tests for water lol.
Anyway gonna keep an eye on the fish but hopefully everything is fine now.

An extra water change would help, even if the water conditions are good.
