hi guys,, any further suggestions ?

Tank size: 120ltrs
pH: 6.4 (slowly getting higher i hope)
ammonia: spot on
nitrite: spot on
nitrate: spot on
kH:
gH:
tank temp: 28 degrees

Story:

From LFS the other day, 6 platinum mollies, 6 Gold dust mollies

other tank fish, 10 small neons, 4 bronze corys

Got the mollies the other day, looked fine, but last night i noticed some rot on the tail fins, almost like a whitespot starting, but only on the Platinum ones, golds ar fine. today it seems to be developing to fin rot, again no other fish affected, just platinums.

Action today: 30% water change, dosed with melafix and tap safe, all reading checked and stable, ph is rising slightly from the other day, but it was low.
Also turned the aeration froom the filter up so plently of oxygen getting onto tank which is a Fluval Lido 120. All the media except the carbon has been changed in the filter as well, but washed thru in the old water.

Is there anything else i can do ? or have i done something i shouldnt have ?

cheers
Ray

Oh,, also have a bit of bogwood that was with the tank when i bought it,, was thinking of taking this out ?

seems you are doing everything well, not sure what spot on is, i would leave the wood alone, keep dosing and doing water changes and you should see things gradually improving, di

Melafix works wonder's so your doing everything right ill be very surprised if you don't start to see it clear up very quickly.

Thanx guys,, checked tonight again and the ph is 6.8 so it's coming up nicely.

Have had the light out most of the night to keep the fish calm, they are now swimming better (platinums)

Tank looks a little cloudy, could this be the melafix of perhaps a bloom of some sort ?
