the AR-620 trickle filter is a very good filter. if the powerhead has stopped working or doesnt work as it should then take it back and get a replacement especially if its less than a year old, demand one.

this tank is a great little tank but without modification to the hood an external wont fit on it. i had one of these tanks and the trickle filter worked great.

just a thought. was the powerhead completely submerged in the water? if not it will not be as efficient and may be running dry causing it to burn out..... they need to be totally underwater for best results, this means having the tank full.

its a good filter? Awomse :)
the powerhead is covered up to the little line that it says to be covered to....should i fill my tank up more?
And i am going to my LFS to ask them if they know whats happening- although i doubt it :p

o_O its doing it again, just went to change the media- i have had an extra filter wool in to build enough bacteria so i can take my carbon catridge out and replace with more filter wool- and it has been like 20 mins and it is still not working- i have the air stone on and a filter that is designed for a 55L o_O
