Help!

So 3 weeks in and everything is going well with my 10 Cardinals and I was just about to add more fish.
Now I return home and 2 of them are dead at the bottom of the tank.
what could have caused this.
water quality is as it always has been after finishing my fishless cycle.
currently at: Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 20.

They were pretty small when I bought them from my lfs so I would guess they were pretty young.

Nope nothing new and there behaviour hasn't changed the last water change was as part of my weekly cleaning 4 days ago.
they did look slightly fatter than the others.

How often are you testing the water quality?

it depends once sometimes twice a day as my tank is only 3 weeks post cycling and i'm trying to keep an eye on it.
