436 litre tank. Ammonia = 1ppm. Nitrite = 5pp. Dosed tank with seachem prime then decided it's probably better to do a large water change!
How much water should I change? & is it then safe to re-dose with seachem prime?

It's better to do a few large water changes than lots of little ones, as it will reduce your ammonia and nitrite levels far more quickly. The less time your fish are exposed to these high levels, the less long-term chronic damage will be caused. Try to do an 80% water change every day until the levels drop to 0 for both.

Yep fish are in the tank, I have drained about 35% so far.
Also, due to the size of the tank, I will re-fill it with the hose pipe which is why I was asking if it's ok to re-dose with seachem prime after the water change :)

Last Sunday I took the rocks out, cleaned the algae off the glass & replaced rocks. Didn't add any new ones and didn't change any water :(
Did mix the sand up quite a bit... Maybe the gas trapped under the sand?
Apart from that, nothing has changed :(
