Help!

Hi,

I've got a few female guppies in my tank, and one of them is definitely pregnant, and yeah okay, I probably sound really stupid, but do guppies give birth through the anus or not? Because my female now has two 'holes' so to speak, the bottom one being the anus, the top one, looks sore, and quite red?

Should I be worried? Is there something wrong with her, and if there is, what do I do?

Yes they give birth from that anal area.

If it sore then you may have have an infection, and a pic would be handy to be sure.
If it's enlarged then this is be the birthing channel opening ready to give birth to some fry.

Myxazin or melifix would be handy just to help reduce any infections from setting in.

Yes and you should see a white birthing tube. Thats a dead giveaway shes ready to give birth.
