HELP!!!!!

Do you mean cloudy water? Or do you mean tannin stained? Tough fish can survive in "dirty" water full of suspended particles, but it can't make their life particularly happy. I know alot of Aussie natives live in murky billabongs, but these aren't the everyday tropical fish. Tannin stained water on the other hand is different, some fish prefer this, including some rainbow fish species and tetras.

Are you asking this because you tank has suddenly become very clouded? Or have you just set up a new tank, if so it's probably because the gravel has not been washed thoroughly. If this is the case, turn off the filter then let the particles settle before using the gravel vacuum. You might need to do this more than once. I don't know exactly what your problem is. Need more info before your question can be answered properly. :D

Why re u asking this. Having cloudy water is probably not a good sign.

But some fish can survive, for example Gouramis and siamese Fighting fish who have a system of breathing atmospheric air using a sysytem called the Labyrinth. That is why u can keep a beta in such a small bowl.
