The honey gourami i wondered if was a fake is acctually ill which explains the quick colour change.

Symptons
Loss of colour
Very bloated
Lethargic
trailing poo
scales ticking outwards

My imediate thought was dropsy so she is now in a 1gallon tub with a small bubble filter

Meds wise I have fish tonic which is 33% magnesium sulphate
swim blader old but no date on it
and fin rot and fungas controll

bump its getting the tonic in a minute enless someone says its a bad idea

For a quick response on a sick fish, it's best to post in the emergency section.

Sorry, I personally can't be any more help than that

Use the tonic if that is all you have to hand, other than that all I suggest is Melafix if you can get some.
Also try some mashed up peas in case it is constipated, do not feed it any other food.

well its got more bloated is sitting on the bottom and has a huge trailing poo

is its poo white and stringy at all? do anyother post in emergency's the experts there will know what to do :good:

Epson salt baths to help draw the fluids out.
Once scales stick out organ failure,. last stage of dropsy.
Fish rarely make it once scales stick out.
