Help!

I would use the jungle medicated food.
I wouuldn't dose the tank aswell as you could be overdosing the fish,.

I started feeding it with them last night. I already dosed the tank aswell( im pretty sure i didnt over dose). But, since adding the Copper last night, the worm is still sticking out, i thought that it irritates the worm, so the worm would go back in the fish? Also, the angel seems less eager to eat ( OHHH NOOOO!). The food says to feed 3 days a week for 4 weeks. But why cant i just feed this to them everyday?

I would stick to the instructions on the package.
You don't worm everyday the med will kill the parasites, then you have to treat for 4 weeks to kill the young parasite.

Okay. I was just wondering since i dont want the fish to decide to stop eaitng and then not be able to continue the treatment. My angelfish really dosent like the food. I thought it had stoppped eating entirely because it wouldnt even go near the pellets. So i put some flake sin there, and WOOSH the angel was the first one there. I guess this will require tough love.

Sh*t, look what i found in a dead guppy ( in another tank!):

Now, if that isnt a Callamanus Worm, i dont know what is. I guess im going to have to treat this tank aswell.

Camallanous worms are red when they have been feeding on the host blood.
Good luck.
R.I.P.

I as told by Tolak that the reason it says feed for only 3 days is because it needs the other 4 to get the orm out. But, should i continue feeding anyay since the angelfish dosent really take to the food , as in a couple time spitting it in and out. So, should i continue treatment anyays. Or should i ait 4 days even though the fish isnt really eating it.

Can you issolate him so you can tell if he's eating the medicated food.

He eats. Just not this food. He will pick at it, and let it fall to the bottom, and then he swims away, and has nothing to do with it. The other fish dont particularly like it either. It will be very hard to isolate him , but i will if needed be.

You might try soaking the pellets in garlic... :) Garlic boosts the immune system, and a lot of fish love it. You could also try soaking in Bloodworm or Mysis Shrimp. They may eat the pellets before they realize its medicine!!!

Okay, i called petsmart, and petco ( my fav lfs isnt open for another 3 months =[) and they dont carry garlic attractant. I might take some brine shrimp tonight, and soak the pellets in some tank water and brine shrimp, and see if that works.

Just crush a clove of garlic in a garlic press, or with a knife and roll the pellets in the mush...

The brine shrimp may work fine. You can use anything that they like, to help disguise the smell and taste of the medicated pellet. It's kind of like coating a pill with jam, to make it easier to swallow.... :fun:
