Help!

i had bought a red parrot and golden severum about 6 weeks ago, the continued to hide away so i looked about for fish that maybe would have brought them from their hiding place so yesterday i bought a tinfoil barb and 2 highfin sharks but they only stick together and hide

Need more info on size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
