can some one help me i have lost my fist fish wish was gourami and i can nogt think why the tank was set up about 3 weeks ago the other fish i have isa nother gourami male th female dyed we all so have 2 angel fish 2 sword tails 3 guppys and to corys
we have just had the gourami for 3 days whant to no what you think be for i go back to the fish shop

Did you cycle the tank? If it was cycled 3 weeks ago, then you didn't, and that could have caused your gourami's death. It probably won't be the first death in your tank if you didn't cycle.

I agree we need to look at water stats first in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
Any symtoms to go on.

Dont go and rush out and put more fish in. Sounds like your tank just isnt cycled, in 3 weeks its probably not. You will just keep losing fish until its cycled fully.
As Wilder said - need water stats.

Hi stumpy didn't see it was you.
Only had your tank set up two weeks is this correct, if so you need to read up on a cycling tank.
I woudln't add anymore fish till the tank has cycled.

Did you do a fishless cycle, by adding ammonia.
or did the lfs just give you some cycle benefical bacteria by nutrafin.
If they told you to add the cycle it dosn't cycle the tank instantly, it takes ages, it's not proven the cycle even works.
