hey,

my betta has a cloudy eye and it just occured last night. I bought some tablets to put in his water to help him, but i only have a one gallon tank at this time that i have him in. The directions on the back of the box say that i should put 1 tablet per 10 gallons of water. How much of this tablet should i put in my tank without the risk of hurting my fish, but helping to clear up his eye? Also, i use tetracare water conditioner, will this affect anything or hurt my fish when i put the tablet in the water?

Cloudy eye is a symtom of a desease not a desease in it's own right.
Causes.
Bad water quality so can you post stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
Old age.
Irratation.
Bad diet so what do you feed the fish.
Bacterial infection to parasites.

As for adding a tablet if water quality is bad I would preform a water change and not bother with the tablet.
