please could someone tell us what we are doing wrong , it all started off with a amonia spike to which we put in ammolock which seemed to work, then it was a nitrate spike which we controlled by less feeding.then we noticed that they began to rub there gills on the gravel nitrate rose but not to high.now nitrate gone through the roof again.please can anybody advise

BRING THOSE NUMBERS DOWN!!!

:D hope this wasn't too late.

don't rely on ammolock or what ever chemical you have, water changes, even if its 2 a day are your best bet!

If you have any MELAFIX use it!!! if you dont

buy it! it's natural and aid in stress related injuries, wounds, depleted slime coat etc.
