I have just realised that my cory was stuck up my battery filter that I have kept running in there for 5 mins, He is alive but looks very shaken his tale is quite shredded too. I dont have a hospital tank what should i do i am so worried please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Add some melafix to the tank just half dose for now with him being shaky, turn tank lights out to let him settle down, and maybe increase aeration abit with adding the med.

melafis havent got any do you think he be ok until morning? And can i get that at any pet store?
What about his tale quite shredded

Should be able to get it, excellent water quality, how bad is the stredding, best thing first is to let him get over the shock, as shock can kill a fish just let him calm down in a dark tank, more worried about the shock at this moment.

Thanx well the tale looks quite shredded not right down to the base though.And i was doing a tank cleaning due to a sort of slime in the tank looked like white slimey bits floating around! You dont think stress coat or anything

If the tank is well maintained then all of a sudden you get alot of slime on the glass and things it can be a sign of a parasite, as fish produce more when they have parasites.

They all look fine the only thing different that i did was i treated the tank with finrot as 1 of the tetras tales was a bit tatty! And i treated that about 5 days ago. Could it have been that thats caused the slime,

And the cory just ate something gotta be a good sign ay?

Yes that's a good sign, as you can't eat when stressed well i can't anyway, but just keep an eye on him, did you increase aeration with the med, as that can cause a white filmy tank.

Well it has quite alot of aeration anyway 2 air streams from the ugf and filter flow and also a air strip along the back, but i will defo get some melafix tomorrow.
