Hey!!
I’m relatively new to the hobby and could really use some help! I noticed a which patch on one of my Platy fish.

I goggled it and it seems like it’s likely white spot but I just wanted confirmation before treating?

It's definitely not ich. With ich, there would be many tiny white spots all over the fish, like grains of salt. This looks more like a fungal or bacterial infection (maybe Columnaris, but it's difficult to tell). If you can get your hands on a broad-spectrum antifungal or antibacterial medication, then try it - ideally in a separate tank.
