Help With Redo?

Ok, so you guys have gorgeous tanks! I am so in awe of the skill I am seeing here. But, even more, I am feeling overwhelmed and very inept!

I am wondering if I put some pics of my redo it I can get some advice?

OK, here is what I've come up with. Anyone have suggestions for improvement? Maybe too much red? Is it too Christmas"red and green? Do i need more focal points? Stronger focal points?
