That is a link to all my cichlids. A man just offered me £75 for all the fish and around 0kf of ocean rock. Do you guys think that is a good offer.
I would say its quite bad because i was hoping for around£50 just for the fish??? And ocen rock is like 1.90 per kg in shops.

i sold approx 25 malawis and 50 kg of ocean rock to my lfs for £75 so i could get some other fish.i'd take it personally if i were you.always seems to be a problem selling some fish ie malawis

At the end of the day it depends how desperate you are to get rid of it all. If you accept his offer then he will deffo have a bargain!!!
Or let the auction run and see what happens. Good luck!

Yeah i supose your all right just a bit of a price drop. I think i might push him for maybee en extra £10-£15.

At least that. Why don't you do a separate auction for the rock on ebay? I've seen it go for some good prices on there.

Yea but you put your buy it now price for £75?
So that is the most you think its worth and thats whats been offered? If you think its worth more put a higher price and see what the bidding goes too.
Personally i think its a good price cos your only really selling the rock as the fish are only worth a couple of quid if you look in the classifieds, where as ocean rock is expensive, so i think id be happy with £75. :good:

Any price stated on ebay if just for the fish. the £75 but it now is incase i get lucky :hey: The rock is to be payed for seperatly.

That's how I read it ginge, the auction is just for the fish but you have the rock available separately. Still think it's a shame my tanks not cycled otherwise I might have bid on them.

Well you still can if you want and as you are a member ill just keep hold of em for a bit??? Just an idea. I mean its not going to cycle after the 19th of july.(date when i want it all gone by as it is my birthday and start of planted tank adventure)

you can normally expect to get half what you paid when selling second hand goods so £75 is a good offer if you paid £120.

You could say that the fish cost me £70 and they are not more mature i dont see why fish decrease in value but i supose id sell a bit cheaper so about £50 then ontop of that i dont want to sell the rock for like £25 when i payed around £70. I ahve email him asking for a little more.

The guy has now offered me £20 for all the rock and he is not sure about the fish i dont think ill take that offfer as it will mean that the fish will be left with no rock.
